Do you remember this scene from The Witches (1990)? I think about it all the time and have been waiting to make a pin about it.
What looks like a murky painting in fact contains the trapped soul of a girl captured by a witch and doomed to age inside its surface. Tilt the pin up and down to make her transform from young girl in the window to old woman in the yard. A lifetime gone in a blink.
